Holding Deposit & Withdrawing from tenancy

If an offer is agreed and you decide to move forward with the next steps, you’ll be asked to pay the equivalent of one week’s rent, which will go towards your first rental payment. If you decide not to proceed with the tenancy, this amount may be retained in line with the Tenant Fees Act 2019, but only to cover any reasonable costs incurred by the landlord or agent.

Changes to the Tenancy Addendums, tenancy amendments, or changes to tenants and/or occupants

£40.00 + VAT (£48.00 inc VAT)

Unpaid rent

If your rent is late, interest will be charged from the date it was due until the day it’s paid, at a rate of 3% above the Bank of England’s Base Rate.

If you wish to leave before the end of your tenancy, there may be a charge for this. Any cost will be explained in advance and will never be more than the landlord’s financial loss or any reasonable costs the agent incurs in arranging for you to move out early.
